Offei rose to prominence with enduring hits such as “Hold On,” “Life Is Short,” and “Kaa She Gbeyei.” These tracks cemented her place among the country’s most respected gospel voices. In 2009, she received two major accolades at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (now Telecel Ghana Music Awards): Best Female Vocal Performance and Songwriter of the Year.
Beyond music, Offei was a highly educated professional. She attended Achimota School, earned an MPhil in Crop Science from the University of Ghana, and later obtained an MSc in Information Technology from a university in the United Kingdom. She also worked in banking at Standard Chartered Bank.
She was married to Professor Samuel Kwame Offei, a former Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana. The couple had two children.
