Theft scandal at Abena Dapaah’s residence: Let the law takes its own cause devoid of political involvement – Npp Nasara Coordinator.

The Npp Deputy Nasara Coordinator for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Constituency, Ahaji Ibrahim Mohamed has passionately appealed to the government not to bring politics into the former Minister for Sanitation, Cecelia Abena Dapaah’s theft house robbery case, instead treat the matter on individual lines.

In a telephone interview this morning, Alhaji Mohamed Ibrahim noted that Abena Dapaah’s issues must be treated as a personal one.

He said the president of the land, Nana Akuffo Addo’s nor the Npp have a link, whatsoever in the former Minister’s issue.

What we need to know is to protect the image of the Npp, and draw the attention of Ghanaians that the party has no hands to support Abena Dapaah about what transpired at her residence.

The Nasara Deputy Coordinator noted that president Akuffo Addo is not happy about what has taken place at the former Minister for Sanitation’s home, and therefore advised Npp stalwarts to disassociate themselves from the deal.

This is a clear case which implicates Abena Dapaah herself, stressing that any attempt made by the party to extend it’s support for Dapaah could likely affect the party’s fortunes.

The Npp should purely treat the case as personal because Abena Dapaah thought it prudent to resign to save the image of the Npp, he noted.

The Deputy Nasara Coordinator was hopeful that government would speed up investigations into the matter to bring out the whole truth for immediate action.
