The National Head Pastor of the 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr. has stressed the need for the government to put measures in place to ensure that full justice is done to the issues that boarder on ritual murder cases to help scare the offenders.
The clergy alleged that apart from the delays that at times confront the judiciary system about the proceedings on ritual murder cases which enhances further criminal activities, shedding of innocent blood also affect the fertility of our environment, ( lands).
The man of God made the assertion on Friday December 30, 2022 when he was addressing a large congregation at the end of the year camp meeting organized by the 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies at Feyiase in the Ashanti Region.
The program had the theme: “I Have Loved Thee With An Everlasting Love” quoted from the book of Jer: 31:3, in addition to the main message, dubbed – Called To Be Airport For God’s Spirit.
And it was attended by the entire 25 branch churches across the country.
The man of God observed that Jesus Christ died to save mankind from the bondage of sins because of the love He have for the world.
Elder Ofori Jnr indicated that the love upon which Christ laid his soul for remission of sins is no more in existence.
As people tend to engage themselves in all kinds of antisocial vices including ritual murder.
The clergy expressed regret that today people kills fellow human beings just like killing vermins for alleged rituals apparently to seek earthly powers, fame and wealth.
Such evil doers he reiterated, hardly recognize the negative impact that their actions have in the society.
They practice abominable things that seems to be contrary to the procreation principles.
People allegedly commit serious crimes in the form of ritual murder and go unpunished or get less punishment because the laws hardly bite to the point, he stressed.
Elder Enoch Ofori cited the Mankessim in the Central Region incident where a chief was alleged to have murdered a prospective nurse for ritual purpose.
According to him, if such alleged human crimes happen in the society, the land mourns and result to less yields of farm produce to help build a stronger economy.
The land also becomes accursed and cannot produce because it is divinely disallowed to contain innocent blood.
Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr underscored that because of the shedding of innocent blood that tend to be a free game in the society, hence the global challenges in the economies.
The clergy added that the most worrying aspect in the alleged ritual murder cases are that when a suspect is arrested, investigations and proceedings tend to delay.
Thus, to such an extent that the case usually allegedly died naturally, whilst the offenders go scot free as innocent citizens.
The pastor intimated that it was against this background that he is passionately appealing to the authorities to come out with policies that could give stiffer punishment to murder suspects.
He said if this is done it would help reverse the trend to fertilize our environment as it was before.
Our lands are cursed and it is no more producing because of the alleged innocent blood shed committed against it resulting to economic challenges.
He stressing that it would be appropriate if measures are put in place to curb the menace for the benefit of all, Elder Ofori Jnr told the congregation.
