Cut the waste in the system ,- Kwabena Agyepong – To Akuffo Addo.
Former Npp General Secretary and presidential hopeful, Kwabena Agyei Agyepong has advised the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government to cut down what he termed as “waste in the system”.
The aspirant, who polled 6 votes in the just-ended Npp Special Delegates Congress, urged the government to take decisions that could benefit Ghanaians.
Kwabena Agyepong failed to be elected into the top five candidates to compete in the Npp main presidential elections on November 4.
Agyepong admonished the government to “live within our means.
Cut the waste in the system; reduce the government size like I believe we should for a country of 31 milion people and then we can continue to jaw-jaw”.He told journalists that, despite he losing out in the election, he “will continue to be an advocate for what is right for Ghana” and in playing his role as a social activist, he pleaded with the government not to overspend.
He also advised the citizenry to be each other’s keeper, saying “let’s be relaxed cannot help build a strong nation.
