Headmaster of Citadel Academy Appeals For Public Support.

The headmaster of Citadel Academy located at Kumasi Adoato in the Ashanti region, Mr. Prince Agyeman Badu has made a passionate appeal to the government, Non Governmental Organizations, philanthropists and other well-meaning Ghanaians to come to the aid of the school, reports Akosua Chillings.

At a graduation ceremony held at the school on Tuesday September 25, 2023, Mr Badu said the school is though fast growing, it is confronted with various challenges that need attention.

He said the founders of the school been the Amazing Grace Assemblies of God have been doing everything possible to raise it’s standard, there are still problems that have to be solved.

Mr Prince Agyeman Badu mentioned a damaged bridge at the school which is half way repaired, but still needs proper maintenance .

That was not all, he spoke about inadequate school desks and tables, books and other learning materials as some of the challenges confronting the school.

Another area which he said also needs urgent attention is the computer laboratory section which have only four computers which he reiterated, are not sufficient for effective computer studies.

Among others, he called for financial aid to enable the school management to meet the uniform cost, as well as offering scholarship awards to some brilliant students whose parents are poor.

The school’s head observed that since education is the key for national development, and also a collective responsibilities of all, hence his passionate appeal to the general public to come to the aid of the school.

At the end of the program, special awards were given to Master Nathaniel Kwabena Duker as the Best KG2 student and Master Samuel Kojo Bentil been the Best nursery 2 student respectively.
