Ghana’s Brighter Future Depends On Educational Promotion And Not Protests – Says Save Ghana Movement
The Save Ghana Movement has emphasized that promoting education among the citizenry rather than engaging in protests against the government, is the pressing need in Ghana today.
Presently, the country is faced with a situation where many people are primarily focused on their day-to-day survival.
In an interview with the Convener of the Movement Mr Robert Andzie Ansah, the concerns of the populace are deep rooted in ensuring that they can meet their basic needs in the immediate and foreseeable future.
Robert Andzie Ansah indicated that Ghanaians, by and large, exhibit minimal interest in participating in protests, adding that engaging in protest activities at this time appears to be unnecessary.
He said the country count has witnessed series of protests over times, yet the fundamental issues plaguing the economy remains largely unaddressed.
It is imperative that our primary objectives should be shifted towards educating the people of Ghana through good policies.
This shift should be the cornerstone of our efforts that aimed at fostering development and ushering in financial freedom for the citizens, the Convener pointed out.
He stressed that as leaders of a country, is so are the citizens for a country without good citizens is just like a tree without a root.
