Man, 50, allegedly shot himself to death in Bono Region.
The residents of Akrofro a town in the Brekum East Municipality of the Bono Region are yet to get relief from their shock following an alleged unexpected death of a 50 year old man, Mr. Haruna Ofori who was said to have shot himself to death in his room on Monday, September 25, 2023.
The wife of the deceased,Madam Kyeraa Doris confirmed the incident to our correspondent , Akosua Chillings that her husband locked himself in his room after ordering his super from her.
According to Doris after the husband had ordered her to bring his supper, she later got the information that her husband now deceased had shot himself to death.
She said upon reaching the scene, she saw her husband lying in a pool of blood with his gun lying on him in the room.
Doris reiterated that she had with her late husband, six children, insisting that the husband was a caring man as his death has taken her by surprise.
Meanwhile, the body has been deposited at the Berekum Holy Family Hospital whilst police investigations continue.
