WE HAVE BEEN NEGLECTED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND V.R.A – AFRAM PLAINS SOUTH MP.

The member of Parliament for Afram Plains South Constituency in the Eastern Region Hon. Joseph Appiah Boateng has expressed regret that inspite of the role been played his Constituency to develop the country, government and the Volta River Authority (V. R. A) have neglected them citing the recent recent spillage of Akosombo and Kpong Dams issues as a case in point.

Speaking to the host Collins Agyemang (Don Collinto) on the Dofopa 105. FM Political Talk Show dubbed Ghana Nsem, the lawmaker of the constituency lamented how the government and the Volta River Authority have neglected their constituents regarding the challenges confronting his people through the spillage of the Akosombo and Kpong Dams.

Hon. Joseph Appiah Boateng stated that after incident he has been to various offices to seek support but none of the authorities have given ears to his call for assistance.

The lawmaker lamented that the major challenge they are facing and pleading with the general public to help with donation is the fact the victims of the flood are in great difficulties.
