Our Mandates As Pastor Are To Pray Against Spiritual Attacks Of The Nation But Not Only On Prophecies – Apostle Okrah.
Founder and leader of Manna Redemption Ministry located at Buokrom in the Ashanti region, Apostle Joseph Yaw Okrah has observed that the responsibilities of pastors are not limited to prophecies alone but also to pray for the nation against spiritual attacks.
Reacting to the events that would hit the country to pass in the December 7 general elections, Apostle Okrah alleged that the country sits on a time bomb because many outrageous incidents would take place throughout the electioneering campaign periods to the final day of the elections.
He mentioned persistent road accidents, political crashes and violence between the Npp and Ndc, deaths of top political figures including the MPs from both Npp and Ndc among other acts of bloodshed.
The clergy noted that such atrocities would come to pass according to the revelations he had from God.
He stressed that the only remedy that could avert the barbaric incidents hanging on the country could be centered on prayers and fasting from the entire country especially the representatives of God.
According to Apostle Okrah it is at this crucial time of such prophecies where men of God should rise up and pray for God’s intervention.
The country is for us all therefore if it destroys it destroys for us all and as such its protection must be our priority, he stated.
He called on the Christian Council of Ghana to take a lead and organize all the charismatic, Pentecostal among other religious bodies in quarterly national prayers and fasting so that God in His mercies would avert any calamities against the country with regards to the December 7 general elections.
Apostle Joseph Yaw Okrah also called on the state officials not to joke with prophecies despite the fact that false prophets are in existence.
As state officials l implore you to cooperate with the pastors in prayers for the sake of peace and stability of the country, Apostle Okrah reiterated.
