There is an adage that says that if a poor man assures to give you a cloth, you should first examine his posture, so is how a section of Ghanaians see Dr Bawumia Vice president of Ghana who he and his master Akuffo Addo, after woefully performing badly to ditch the economy is trying to use sugar coated words to convince people to vote for him to become the next president of the country.

Readers can recalled that Bawumia in his recent state address stated equivocally of his intentions to transform the economy with new policies when Ghanaians give him the mandate in the December 7 general elections to become next president of the land.

However Bawumia’s claim has raised a lot of questions among Ghanaians who wanted to know on whether if the Vice president has any magic wand to transform the country, failed to apply that magic to help his boss Akuffo Addo to mend the rotten situation of the country.

For many Ghanaians this reporter spoke to them in reaction to the Vice president’s statement, Bawumia has nothing new to offer the good people of the country if he is given the mandate to rule the country.

In Ashanti region been the stronghold of the Npp, residents described Bawumia’s assurances as a gutter statement because nobody is ready to back the Npp to break the ‘8’.

The country would be worse off under Bawumia who is part of the current economic hardships confronting the country, an economist at the Kumasi University of Science and Technology alleged.

From Takoradi, Tamale, Ho and Cape Coast our scouters report that people continue to denounce Bawumia, following his statement that allegedly showed that he wanted to belittle the intelligence of Ghanaians with regards to economic management.

The residents, from the correspondents, Bawumia and Akuffo Addo have though done what they could do for the state, no one is ever ready to accept Bawumia to head the country.

After eight years of of economic struggle what has Ghana archieved under Akuffo Addo and Bawumia’s alleged despotic administration, a banker at Wassaw Akropong fired.

Currently Ghana needs an experience, matured, selflessness and corrupt free leaders who would show concern to the plight of the country and citizenry to steer the affairs of the nation, a political analyst from the University of Cape Coast asserted.

Ghana is at cross road, demanding a true rescuer and stateman to rule it, therefore it is up to the people to decide on their own fate to vote for a truthfull candidate in the December 7 general elections, but not someone who will masquerade as an Angel of light and decieve the people after gaining power from the same people who may vote him to power, a messenger of a fitting workshop at Kumasi Shame Magazine reiterated.
