Donyina chief destooled over insubordination, other illegalities.
The chief of Donyina, Nana Osei Dankwa Brefo II has been destooled over insubordination.
Kingmakers, family members and the family head of the Dankwa Bretuo Brafuo family who unanimously destooled the chief charged him for several misconducts.
According to them, his misbehaviours range from abuse of traditions to the formation of new family and family heads with strangers.
They also accused him of hijacking development and causing lots of confusion within the community, instead of seeking for people’s wellbeing.
The Dankwa Bretuo Brafuo family head who led the process destooled the chief by slaughtering a sheep on his head and barred him from entering the palace.
The executive director for Corruption Combat International and Investigative Chief for Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Nana Amoah Ampem Okogyeabour who is the lead investigator on the chief’s conduct said his destoolment has even been long overdue.
Some family members and residents who jubilated over the chief’s destoolment said, he caused lots of havoc for the town’s success.
