According to a report by Ghanaweb on Friday, Oct 9, 2026, a Uber driver who said he was sexually assaulted by three women has reportedly received GH¢105,600 from them as compensation, following widespread discussion of the case on social media.

The driver, whose name has been withheld, lives in Kasoa Budumburam. He had earlier told GhanaWeb that the incident took place at East Legon Hills, where he alleged the three women sexually assaulted him. His account, along with videos linked to the matter, circulated widely online.
The latest details come from a Kasapa FM report shared on X, which GhanaWeb sighted on October 8, 2026. The report stated that the women involved paid the driver GH¢105,600. GHOne TV also carried the video report, describing the driver as having been allegedly “gang-raped.”
According to the report, the driver had first agreed to a sum of GH¢100,000, and the women made a down payment of GH¢50,000 toward it. The report as sighted does not explain how the final figure came to exceed the agreed amount by GH¢5,600.

The development has drawn mixed reactions online. Some social media users have called on the Ghana Police Service to arrest the three women. Others have argued that the payment, whatever the amount, does not justify the alleged act.
The reports reviewed do not say whether the matter has been formally reported to the police, and the women have not been named.
The claims remain allegations as reported.
