Breaking News; Aowin Municipal Coordinating Director, Others to Work From Home.

To prevent a planned attack by some traditional leaders, the Aowin Municipal Coordinating Director has ordered others to work from home.

According to information obtained by this outfit from the Aowin Municipal Assembly in the Western region, the Municipal Coordinating Director and other officers have been working from home since Wednesday, March 19, 2024, as a result of threats from Beyeeman Tano Kwaw Benbuin III, the embattled Omanhene of the area to harm them.

Attempts were made to speak with the representatives of the municipal assembly, but they stated they would not talk about it at this time.

After we spoke with Nana K. Nkansah II, the Aowin Traditional Council Spokesperson

He said such threat is not coming from the Aowin Traditional council and must be investigated by the police, hence, he assured that they will assist the police at a time.

Below is the notice circulated to all departmental heads by HR.

Following a feedback of communication from the Aowin Traditional Council to the Assembly, our Municipal Coordinating Director’s life has been threatened to the extent of an attempt cursed penalty.

In view of this, the office is not safe for work and by way of expressing our displeasure and loyalty to our boss; I am directed by the MCD, to advise all staff to consider working from home, thus tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19, 2024.

This is to enable staff to observe how issues will unfold going forward.

Let us also endeavor to support one another with continued prayers of protection and peace.

All HoDs are enjoined to bring this to the attention of their subordinates as soon as possible.
