Clarify The Situation On Ghanaian Currency- Prophet Nii Ayeh Tasks Gov’t
Founder and leader of the Rivers of Life International Ministry in Winneba in the Central region, Prophet Dr George Nii Ayeh popular known as Otafregya has stressed the need for the government to do something about the country’s currency to help grow the economy.
In an interview with the media, Prophet Otafregya observed that government is not serious about the country’s currency, insisting that Ghana have different notes of the 5 cedis and two cedis in the system.
Otafregya indicated that in the advanced countries only one dollar note is known in the system apart from their higher currency notes which is normal, but in Ghana, we have many different notes, like one cedi, we have the coin and the paper, same applies to the 2 cedis and also the five cedis have about three different notes.
In his view Otafregya thinks that there is something going on of which Ghanaians are not aware of.
How can we print one single currency and then separates the same note with different colours as if the same currency has a different value, the clergy questioned.
The man of God therefore made a passionate call on the government to come out and tell Ghanaians about what is up in the sleeves of the controllers of the other notes so far as the economy is concerned.
