The deputy Central Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Joseph Abakah Mensah, also known as Commander 1, has issued a scathing warning to Bryan Acheampong for his inflammatory remarks that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will use any means necessary to win the upcoming elections.
In an interview on Obrapa FM’s program dubbed NDC Hour, Commander 1 boldly declared that Acheampong lacks the courage to back up his words and will be the first to congratulate John Mahama on his inevitable victory in the December 7 polls.
Commander 1 emphasized that the NDC is committed to a peaceful election, but will not hesitate to stand up to any violence or intimidation tactics employed by the opposition.
He also questioned the silence of the peace council on Acheampong’s provocative comments, warning that their inaction could have dire consequences for the country.
As the nation prepares for the elections, Commander 1’s statement serves as a timely reminder of the NDC’s dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians and transforming the country’s economy.
