The Assemblyman for Sefwi Wenchi, a farming community in the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai in the Western North Region, Mr Afukaa Kingsley Albert has lauded the Member of Parliament for the Constituency, Hon. Alfred Obeng Boateng for supporting some communities in the area with with some items and undisclosed sum of money to help develop the area.
He stated that though the country is suffering from financial crisis, yet the Mp thought it prudent to support the society.
The Assemblyman made the commendation when the Mp presented items and cash to fulfill the requests that the communities asked for attention.
He mentioned the presentation of large quantities of roofing sheets,
bags of cement, iron rods, and undisclosed sum of money to support some projects within the communities.
Mr Afukaa Kingsley, who couldn’t conceal his enthusiasm, expressed that the achievements of the MP are marvelous to the beneficiary communities and the constituency in general.
Nananom and myself feel overwhelmed by the donations from the MP, he indicated.
Stressing that the Mp is the kind of a concerned gentleman the constituency have not met before over the past decades, and we are thankful to him for supporting the people of Kroboano, Wenchi and Aboduabo,” he said.
On the occasion, the Assemblyman seized the opportunity to appeal to other parties to as a matter of urgency, try to support the deprived communities.
He further called on Non Governmental Organizations NGO’s, philanthropists and other entities to also come and support them, since the MP alone cannot solve the challenges that have been confronting the communities within the constituency.
