The founder and leader of the Mo Mary Fellowship in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, Rev David Armstrong has observed that though there is crisis in the country, some faceless citizens have been contributing to worsen the situation.
Speaking to the Content Writer King Amoah in an interview, the clergy mentioned particularly the traders and section of businessmen and women as people who are behind the crisis of the country.
The aforementioned citizens the man of God noted have been hiding under the recent increase in the fuel prices to unlawful increase prices of their goods.
The man of God described the situation as a deliberate move to make the government unpopular.
And moreover termed it is an alleged scheme to incite government against the public hatred.
Rev Armstrong David contented that in order to reverse the trend to give the president the peace of mind to focus on national issues, hence he is appealing to the president to use the services of the Ghana Armed Forces to make the deal.
He said the president needs to deploy the personnel from the Armed Forces to the various market points on sanitization missions to check prices of goods.
And this should not be seen as a military rule but an act to ensure peaceful exercise that aimed at controlling prices of goods in the society.
Soldiers believe in discipline so their presence in market places among others would help government to win the fight against profiteering in the markets and business communities, Rev Armstrong pointed out.
The man of God expressed worry that just some few days that government announced the new prices of fuel, all prices of commodities have been sharply raised to over 100 percent.
In the opinion of Rev Armstrong if one critically access what is going on in the country it is only the Armed Forces who can help restore the prices of goods in the country.
Every price of single item in the markets have been raised high including old stocks, the man of God learnt.
Rev Armstrong said if president Nana Akuffo Addo wants peace to enable him leave an envious legacy, then he should pay attention to his message and set himself free.
Christmas is just at the corner therefore Ghanaians need action to buy goods at control prices, the clergy anticipates.
The man of God finally suggested that it would be prudent if Nana Akuffo Addo would strictly apply the laws than to allegedly remain silent for the traders to derail his administration.
