In a thought-provoking declaration that has resonated across Ghana, Apostle Dr. Dirl Airl King Mashal, the founder and leader of the Soldiers of Christ Prayer Group of All Churches located in Kumasi Aboahyia, has shared a prophetic message concerning the nation’s political trajectory.
According to Dr. Mashal, Ghanaians should brace themselves for “forward movement” in the country’s development, but not expect any significant changes in governance, particularly in the lead-up to the upcoming elections.
Dr. Mashal’s assertion stems from a profound three-day prophetic revelation he received from October 27 to 30, 2014.
In his message, he emphasized that the desire for a change in government among many citizens could lead to “doom” for the nation. He firmly believes that rather than upheaval in the political structure, Ghana is destined for progress under the stewardship of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who he claims has been divinely chosen for this purpose.
Reflecting on Ghana’s political history, Dr. Mashal pointed out that since the era of independence spearheaded by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the country has experienced numerous changes in governance, yet the populace continues to grapple with poverty and hardship.
This ongoing decline, he argues, underlines a troubling pattern — a need for steadfast leadership rather than a cycle of government change.
His prophetic insights extend further, as he explicitly dismisses the candidacy of former President John Dramani Mahama.
In a striking characterization, Dr. Mashal referred to Mahama as a “dead goat,” suggesting that his political aspirations have been divinely thwarted. He challenges anyone who believes that Mahama can reclaim power, suggesting that the former president’s time has come and gone.
Moreover, Dr. Mashal does not limit his prophetic criticisms to political figures alone; he also addressed notable spiritual leaders, like Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah.
According to him, Bempah’s spiritual influence has been rendered ineffective, accentuating his belief in the superiority of the prophetic forces backing his revelations.
His remarks on the supposed spiritual limitations of opposition figures reinforce his conviction that the balance of power has shifted irreversibly.
Drawing parallels from biblical narratives, Dr. Mashal likened Ghana’s transition to the journey of the Israelites into the Promised Land under Joshua’s leadership after Moses’ death.
He posits that similarly, Dr. Bawumia is the appointed leader to navigate Ghana through its current challenges, including the persistent issues of illegal mining, commonly known as ‘galamsey.’
Apostle Dr. King Mashal’s pronouncements are not only a call for faith in divine guidance for Ghana’s political future but also a challenge to the status quo.
He emphasizes that the nation’s prayers and resolve should be focused on moving forward together rather than seeking change for its own sake.
