Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, during her recent tour in the Central Region promised the farmers in certain constituencies in the region of her support to boost their farming activities.
Prof Naana Opoku Agyemang fulfilling her promise has presented a number of bags of fertiliser to some constituencies through the Members of parliament, and also Parliamentary Candidates of the beneficiary constituencies.
The constituencies that received the gesture from the Running mate of the National Democratic Congress include: Gomoa Central, Gomoa East, Gomoa West and Asikuma Odoben Brakwa.
Other constituencies are Upper Denkyira East, Twifu Atsi- Mukwa and and Assin Central constituency.
The donation was made to a targeted farmers upon their request made during the tour by the running mate in their respective constituencies.
Farmers who receive the fertilisers expressed their gratitude for the offer and prayed that by God’s will the Ndc will win the upcoming elections to enable Mahama’s government to solve the challenges that have been confronting Ghanaian farmers.
