Former President John Dramani Mahama Will The 2024 Elections – Former GCPP Chairman.
Former Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP), Mr David King Amoah has predicted that former President John Dramani Mahama the flagbearer hopeful of the National Democratic Congress stands the chance to win the 2024 general elections.
This is because Ghanaians have lost confidence in the Akuffo Addo’s administration.
Speaking to the Correspondent in an interview, Mr Amoah observed that Ghanaians gave Akuffo Addo the mandate to become the president when they realized that former President John Dramani was allegedly ditching the economy.
The trust in Nana Akuffo Addo, he said gained momentum through his campaign promises thereby forcing the masses to transfer the power to him.
Nana Akuffo Addo promised to bail Ghanaians out from the mess caused by the regime of the former president Mahama because Ghanaians though sit on gold, they always feel hungry.
He also promised various flagship policies notably among them are free education, 1district1factory, 1 Constituency $1million, restructuring of the financial sector and job creation.
King Amoah alleged that it was Addo and his team who gave such promises, and asked whether the ruling Npp has accomplished such numerous promises even one.
Our education system has been flouted with bad policies as no one hardly knows where Akuffo Addo and his team are heading the development of the education to, King Amoah alleged.
Today he underscored, Ghanaians are living in abject poverty amidst misery coupled with armed robbery and prostitution that tend to have characterized the young men and women because there are no jobs.
Ghana is currently engulfed with debts as the same Akuffo Addo who promised Ghanaians with butter and bread is the same person who is now hustling and begging for foreign assistance. Amoah further alleged.
Mr Amoah intoned that if one critically probe the regime of the former president Mahama and Akuffo Addo’s administration, one can quickly form his judgement that Akuffo Addo is a total failure and as such Ghanaians need to vote them out in the 2024 elections.
Charging Ghanaians to vote massively for the Ndc in the 2024 elections, he also entreated the good people of Ghana to treat with contempt, Akuffo Addo’s claims that the economic crisis of the country was caused by the COVID-19, Russia and Ukraine war emergence.
He also asked about the whereabout of COVID-19 funds with regards to the Auditor General reports and among others accountability of the external donations about the pandemic.
