Kwadaso Mce pledges to complete unfinished projects and usher in open administration

The newly elected Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Kumasi Kwadaso, Hon. Eric Asibey, has vowed to prioritize the completion of all uncompleted projects left by his predecessor, Mr. Obeng, while fostering an open and collaborative administration.

In an interview with yen.com.gh, Hon. Asibey emphasized his commitment to making the Kwadaso Municipal Assembly one of the best in the country.

“I am focused on completing the uncompleted projects of my predecessor,” stated Hon. Asibey. “As a representative of the Ghana government at Kwadaso municipal, I am bound to seek the development of the area and to compliment the President’s promise to complete all uncompleted projects.”

Hon. Asibey further stated his commitment to building upon past initiatives while simultaneously introducing new projects to benefit the citizens of Kwadaso.

He highlighted his intention to closely follow the NDC’s manifesto and policies, mirroring President Mahama’s commitment to addressing the concerns of Kwadaso.

Key areas of focus for Hon. Asibey include:

Job Creation: Implementing strategies to stimulate employment opportunities within the municipality.

Financial Mobilization: Strengthening the Assembly’s financial resources to support development initiatives.

Sanitation and Environment: Prioritizing environmental cleanliness and promoting sustainable waste management practices.

Health: Improving access to quality healthcare services for all residents.

Education: Investing in educational infrastructure and programs to enhance learning outcomes.

Road Network: Upgrading and expanding the road network to improve connectivity and facilitate economic activity.

Beyond infrastructure and economic development, Hon. Asibey stressed the importance of good governance and transparency.

He promised to ensure Assembly members are treated with respect, particularly in matters of contract awards and community communication.

“I would also remain focused to cooperate with my workers. Probity and accountability would be my watchdogs to ensure discipline in the Assembly, and overall client respect would also be my concert,” he affirmed.

Hon. Asibey emphasized his commitment to an open-door policy, encouraging collaboration and inclusivity.

“My administration is open, no discrimination,” he assured. He passionately urged all residents and stakeholders to rally behind him in his mission to deliver a brighter future for Kwadaso.

He is determined to ensure that Kwadaso, Kumasi becomes one of the best Assemblies in Ghana.
