The shocking incident has left the community in disbelief, with many questioning what truly happened that night.
According to reports, the pastor, who led a local church, had visited the woman’s house on
Thursday evening for a private prayer session. Neighbors say they heard the two praying late into the night, but by morning, only the lifeless body of the pastor was discovered.
“I heard them praying around 10 p.m., but later, there was silence. I thought they had finished,” said Akua Owusu, a neighbor.
“This morning, we saw police officers everywhere, and that’s when we learned the pastor was dead!”
The woman, whose identity has been withheld for investigations, was found in a state of shock and claimed she had no idea what happened.
According to her, she excused herself to prepare tea for the pastor and returned to find him unresponsive on the floor.
“I left him praying and went to the kitchen. When I returned, he was on the ground, not moving. I called for help immediately,” she tearfully told the police.
Authorities arrived at the scene and secured the area as forensic experts began investigations.
Preliminary reports suggest that the pastor had visible marks on his neck, raising suspicions of foul play.
