Armed robber sprayed trader with liquid pepper and snatched away her money.
Some people are so wicked to the extent that they don’t see anything wrong with their actions that could raise credibility problems in the society.
And this is what has happened at Kenyase-Adwumaim a town in the Kwabre East Municipality of the Ashanti region where a trader is reported to have lost her undisclosed sum of money at the dawn of Wednesday September 6, 2023 to a suspected armed robber who attacked her at a knife point.
That was not all before the ugly operations, the trader, Madam Afia Aso was allegedly sprayed with liquid pepper.
At press time the trader who was said to have sustained some bodily wounds and was rushed to a nearby hospital has been discharged.
Facts gathered from the town have it that Afia on the fateful day of the incident woke up early in the dawn on a business deal as a result of the difficulties the residents usually pass through in the morning before boarding vehicle to Kumasi for business transactions.
The reports said upon reaching a certain point she was confronted by the alleged robber, who asked her to surrender her money but decided to resist.
The resistance, it was said never gone down well with the robber who reportedly pulled out a knife amidst threats to kill but sensing danger of his inability to overpower the trader, he again brought out a small bottle contained liquid pepper he used to spray her on the face after which he managed to make away the lady’s cash.
A good samaritan who came across the scene and saw the woman lying down screaming rushed her to the hospital for treatment.
No police reports was made at the time the correspondent was leaving the town.
