Ashanti Npp Chairman Wontumi Exposes DCOP Kofi Boakye (rtd) As An Alleged Agent For Dramani Mahama In Ashanti Region In The Last Election.
Instead of concentrating on his official duties as a police officer, Nathan Kofi Boakye used to operate as “polling agent” and “EC official” for former President John Dramani Mahama, the Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Antwi- Bosiako has alleged.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, aka chairman Wontumi stated in an interview on Wontumi TV that due to the presence of Commission of Police (COP) Kofi Boakye (retired) in Ashanti region, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) became boisterous and over confident they could do whatever it takes to rake in 1 million votes in the region.
“He (Kofi Boakye) was almost like the polling agent or EC official for John Mahama.
This was the reason why the NDC said they could get 1 million votes”, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako said.
He however stated that through “science and data”, the NPP were able to overcome the plan COP Nathan Kofi Boakye cooked with the NDC for that election in 2016.
