Aspiring Ndc Parliamentary Candidate For Atwima Nwabiagya North Embarks On Clean Up Exercise.
In his quest to ensure good health of his people to help contribute to the growth of the economy, the Aspiring Ndc parliamentary candidate for Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mr Mba Zakaria over the weekend embarked on a massive clean up exercise with a call on his people to observe sanitation and environmental bye laws.
The Member of Parliament hopeful led his constituents consisting supporters of the NDC and Npp among other political party members to clean up various communities in the Constituency.
It was learnt that the exercise is focused to take off in every Sunday morning to sustain the cleanliness of the area.
And it has since covered communities like Adankwame and its surrounding areas in the constituency.
At the Sunday’s laudable exercise, the program saw the clearing of weeds and dredging of choked gutters to allow easy flow of stagnant water those results in the breeding of mosquitoes.
Mr Mba Zakaria in a brief interview with the media stated that he feels bound as the MP hopeful for the area to ensure that his constituent continue to have a healthy living.
He said Ghana needs its human resource base to develop effectively within the shortest possible time and urged the populace to make efforts to live in a clean environment to avoid preventable diseases that could lead to their untimely death.
He stated that the motive for the exercise was to create awareness about the need for people to live in a healthy environment and hoped that the communities would learn vital lessons from it.
He then called on the people of Atwima Nwabiagya North to vote massively for him and President John Dramani Mahama in election 2024.
