Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s intensive campaign tour in the Bono East Region has garnered a massive wave of support from the delegates who are expected to play a vital role in selecting the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.

This sentiment was echoed by another delegate who highlighted that Dr. Bawumia’s track record coupled with his frantic policy arrangements helped developed the country when the NPP was in power.
This is our main reason for backing Dr Bawumia the delegate noted.
Throughout his tour especially in Techiman the former Vice President captivated audiences with a series of fresh policy policieproposals designed to foster growth within the party and the nation at large.
He disclosed a vision that left delegates and the general public convinced of his capacity to reshape the country’s destiny and alleviate the challenges confronting citizens.
Dr. Bawumia pledged to leverage his extensive political experience to unseat the NDC in the next elections when delegates give him the mandate to lead the party.
Key among his proposed initiatives would be periodic Town Hall conferences, intended to serve as a direct platforms for electorates to present their community challenges for attention.
