The Bono East Regional Minister, Francis Owusu Antwi, has commended the shareholders and Board of Directors of Yapra Community Bank for their dedication and hard work in helping the bank meet the minimum stated capital requirement set by the Bank of Ghana.
Speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the bank’s 32nd Annual General Meeting held at Prang, the Minister urged the management of the bank to strengthen its loan monitoring systems to ensure that credit facilities granted to customers contribute positively to the bank’s growth and sustainability.
Mr. Owusu Antwi also encouraged residents living within the operational areas of Yapra Community Bank to cultivate the habit of saving with the bank instead of keeping their monies at home

The Minister stressing that the bank provides a safer and more reliable means of safeguarding their finances.
On his part the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Yapra Community Bank, Mr. Alhassan Anyiass, praised the staff of the bank for their commitment and hard work, which have contributed significantly to the institution’s progress.
He assured customers of the safety and security of their deposits and reiterated the bank’s commitment to providing quality financial services.
Mr. Anyiass further disclosed that the bank plans to increase its loan portfolio this year to support more businesses and individuals, a move expected to boost the bank’s profitability and enhance economic development within its catchment areas.
