Breaking the ‘8’ is just a lip service – Npp stalwart.
A staunch member.of the New Patriotic Party (Npp) at the Kwabre East Constituency Paul Marfo has disclosed that the party’s assurance that it would break the ‘8’ in the next elections is a lip service and advise party stalwarts not to use the assertion to relax.
In a chat with the reporter, Marfo indicated that the Npp has lots of skeletons in it’s wardrobe that needs urgent attention to solve but going rounds to talk about wining elections, whilst the skeletons are not removed from the cupboard could mean to suggest that the party is not serious.
The party sympathizer spoke about internal crisis, factionalism among the rank and file of party stalwarts and most seriously countrywide corruptions under Npp regime and Nana Akuffo Addo’s inability to solve them.
Paul Marfo reiterated that the Npp administration has developed sense of corruption across the country and beyond, stressing that wherever one takes up a step, people accuses the party of been corrupt and incompetent to give signals that the Npp is no more popular with the citizenry.
How can we break the ‘8’ whilst we are dabbling in corruption, Marfo asked and further cited about the huge sums of monies some aspirants spent during the recent Npp parliamentary primaries across the country.
Marfo expressed worry that instead of facing the facts and speaking the whole truth about the position of the Npp and country in general, the party prefers speaking lies to the people.
Touching on the reconciliation agenda Marfo opined that nothing can change people’s to embrace the reconciliation plan, citing Allan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, Kennedy Agyepong, Mr Boateng among others as some of the typical figures who would treat the agenda with contempt.
In order to break the ‘8’ Marfo charged the top guns of the party to open up and come out with a strategic measures that could help the party to win the upcoming national elections, and stop the so-called electoral victory in the December 2024 polls.
