Traders, busines owners and residents within the Bibiani Kwamekrom and Koohan Hotel New Site, in the Bibiani Anwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western Northern Region are crying bitterly over lack of mobile phone network connectivity which according to them are collapsing their business.

The challenge is disrupting our economic activities, and access to essential services, they claimed.

 

 

According to the residents this unfortunate circumstances often compel some of them to gather under specific trees in search of network signals a situation that, make business activities and private conversations to become difficult.

From communications, business, learning and emergency response, mobile connectivity plays a critical role in the society a resident, Kofi Amankwaah noted.

In an interview with the Correspondent number of frustrated business owners and residents expressed bitterly that accessing network service often requires them to converge at a particular spot a situation they observed, contribute to businesses collapse in the area.

Some of the residents shared how this situation affects them, especially during emergencies like fire outbreaks or childbirth when contacting health personnel becomes a daunting task.

We are seriously in trouble due to power connectivity hence we plead for solutions from the relevant authorities, Madam Abena Mansa pointed out.

Nana Abu Gyaabeng, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Koohan Hotel highlighted the challenges faced by the community and their business.

He appealed to the government and telecommunication companies to intervene.

We the people of Koohan Hotel New-site are facing a serious challenge with the mobile network that have been collapsing our businesses.

We are ready to. work hard and expand our businesses for jobs creation if network connectivities are properly restored to boost our morals Nana Abu concluded.
