E/R: 10 passengers in a critical position over fatal road accident.
Reports reaches this website from the Eastern Region indicates that ten passengers are battling for their lives at Yilo District Hospital over a dreadful accident involving a Toyota Fish with registration number GN 9319-21 and KIA vehicle with registration number GW 2385-15.
This was when the two cars allegedly made attempts to overtake each other at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development junction in the Yilo Krobo Municipal on the Somanya- Dodowa road.
The accident victims include 4 minors and six adults respectively.
According to information made available to this correspondent, the Toyota Fish was from Ho heading towards Accra while the KIA which was driving by a female lecturer from the University was also heading towards the same direction.
Source indicated that whilst on the road, the drivers allegedly attempted multiple overtakings and in the process the vehicles collided resulting to the carnage.
At press time the victims were in critical positions, though no death was recorded.
