Frank Yeboah Foundation Donates Sewing Machines, Hair Dryers, Others Worth Ghc 11,000 To Support Artisans Of Achiase.
As part of accomplishing its social obligations, Frank Yeboah Foundation, a non profitable organization has donated items worth over Ghc11,000 to the artisans of Achiase in the Atwima Nwabiagya North Constituency in Ashanti region to help boost their activities.
The items include 6 sewing machines, 3 hair dryers, 2 sets of jerseys and 4 footballs.
The motive behind the presentation by Frank Yeboah Foundation is to enable the artisans to start their own businesses and also keep the existing ones in business..
The ceremony brought together some prominent personalities such as traditional rulers, political leaders, artisans and other officials from Frank Yeboah Foundation.
Presenting the machines, the Chief Executive Officer of Frank Yeboah Foundation and parliamentary hopeful for Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency on the ticket of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Mr Frank Yeboah said he is delighted to contribute towards the future development of the young men and women who are in skills training in the area.
He said Frank Yeboah Foundation as part of its social responsibilities will continue to offer their support to the people both in education and skills training programs.
He added that the foundation does not belong to any political party but rather is championing for the prosperity of the people in Atwima Nwabiagya North irrespective of any political affiliation.
He promised further assistance to the residents in the constituency, stressing that the role of artisans in national development could not be under-estimated and urged people to respect them and not to denigrate them.
He advised the beneficiaries to be proud of the vocation they have chosen and urged them to make the best out of the tools provided them to support themselves and their families.
Mr.Frank Yeboah further advised the artisans to adopt the spirit of we can do spirit and with hard work, perseverance and determination, they will be able to make life possible.
The chief of Achiase Nana Kwaku Antwi Ababio ll commended Frank Yeboah Foundation for their good work.
He added that the development of every country is a share responsibility of both government and individuals so I want to use this opportunity to commend the management of Frank Yeboah Foundation for their kindness towards the good people in my community.
He also appealed to the Chief Executive officer of Frank Yeboah Foundation Mr Frank Yeboah to come to their aid to make the completion of lorry terminal that has been abandoned to rot due to lack of fundings.
Some of the artisans thanked the Chief Operating Officer for the prompt response and promised to work hard to better their lives by becoming financially independent in their livelihood.
