By King Amoah

The Chief Executive of the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality Nana Raymond Ebbah has stressed his commitment to work hard and dedication to ensure that his developmental goals for the area are realized.

He said as a Head of the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality, it is his duty to ensure that good policies are formulated to transform both social and economic conditions of the area to benefit the citizens of whose mandates he serves as MCE.

The Municipality Chief Executive made the statement in reaction to a damaged bridge which is under reconstruction at Wassa Mangoase and Domeabra that have attracted public attention.

The damaged bridge, he said has been neglected for years, posing as a death trap and stalling travelling and business activities for the residents of two towns and beyond.

Upon my assumption of office as the MCE for the area I have taken up the challenge to solve the problem but unknown to many that a contractor is currently working actively on it, they have resorted to media complaints, Nana Raymond Ebbah told the correspondent.

Nana Raymond Ebbah noted that whilst the current administration and its appointees believe in action but not lip services, his outfit remains intact to address the challenges confronting the citizens without discrimination.

He said he has initiated various projects across the Municipality and that people would soon feel the impact when such projects are commissioned.

Cautioning against the spread of false information to the public especially the media, he said misinformation stalls the progress of the society, and as such, those things need to be stopped.

He reminded the residents within the Wassa Amenfi East Municipality to note that since development depends on collective responsibilities his doors are wide open for suggestions and contributions that could help raise the image of the area.
