Jerry Ahmed, Deputy Minority Whip and Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe, has issued a dramatic ultimatum to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), threatening to resign from his position and sell his parliamentary seat if Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is “mistakenly” elected as the party’s flagbearer for the 2028 elections.
In a fiery interview that has since gone viral, Ahmed expressed deep frustration with the party’s leadership and direction, accusing Bawumia of recklessly dismantling the NPP’s credibility through poor decisions and failed policies.
