In an era where many are grappling with the weight of unforeseen life challenges, Senior Apostle Abraham Appiahkorang the Founder and General Overseer of Victory Zion Ministry (My Father’s Temple) in Accra in the Greater Accra Region has delivered a message of profound hope.
In his highly anticipated monthly e sermon for June 2026 the man of God reminded believers that no trial regardless of its intensity is permanent.
Turning Giants into Stepping Stones:
Centering his teaching on the promise found in the Book of Nahum 1:9 which states- What do you imagine against the Lord? He will make an utter end: Afflictions will not rise up the second time,
Senior Apostle Appiahkorang addressed the “Goliath” currently threatening the peace and progress of the followers of Christ.
He explained that the influence of Goliath referring to Satan’s various plots, snares and afflictions against the sons and daughters of God should not be viewed as a dead end.
Instead, through faith in Jesus Christ these very challenges are destined to become the catalysts for one’s breakthrough and prosperity.
Your Goliath does not have the divine authority to sign a destructive contract over your life, the Senior Apostle declared.
When you stand with the Lord, what the enemy intended for your destruction becomes the platform for your elevation.
Fruitfulness in the Month of Divine Visitation:
Describing June as a fruitful month and a season of spiritual visitation, Senior Apostle Appiahkorang spoke directly to those who are struggling with marital instability, unemployment, financial hardship, or the frustration of delayed documentations and family problems.
He urged those who are tempted to give up to remain steadfast, reminding them that the sorrow of the night is merely a precursor to the joy of the morning.
Human existence is not under the control of Satan or his agents of darkness, the Apostle emphasized.
Rather it is governed solely by the Almighty God, he assumed and stated that when temptations unfold believers should consider it as an opportunity for growth since no condition is permanent.
The Davidic Principle:
Drawing a powerful parallel to the biblical account of David, the Senior Apostle challenged believers to adopt the same spirit of faith that allowed a young shepherd boy to defeat a giant warrior.
Just as David conquered and killed Goliath in a battle field through his faith in the Lord, so shall be unto those who trust in the name of the Creator.
The man of God prophesied that the current impediments on those who follow Christ would be dismantled.
He declared that the shackles of darkness that hold back the spiritual progress and breakthrough of the innocent children of God would soon be broken to witnesss a
shift in their fortunes.
A Call to Renewed Faith:
As the sermon drew to a close Senior Apostle Abraham Appiahkorang issued a call to action: renew your faith.
He expressed his sincere hope that the message of Nahum 1:9 would ignite a fire of expectation in the hearts of his listeners.
