The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Member of Parliament for Ejisu Constituency, Hon Kwabena Boateng, Mr. Osei Mainoo, popularly known as Abi Solo, has issued a clarion call to the grassroots supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to carefully observe the conduct and attitudes of politicians before casting their votes in the upcoming 2028 general elections.
Addressing issues of disillusionment among party supporters in an interview Abi Solo stressed that politicians often adopt a humble and accommodating demeanor during election campaigns to woo votes but abandon their supporters once they assume power.
He noted that during election campaigns, politicians who seek their support tend to humble themselves and promise the earth, but once in office, they often forget the grassroots and the very people who voted them into power.
The PRO emphasized that the 2028 elections present an opportunity for the NPP to truly embody the principles of democracy. We must ensure that the true definition of democracy is manifested within our party; failure to do so means the NPP should forget any future electoral success, Abi Solo concluded passionately.
