Founder and leader of the Cornerstone Bible Church International located at Kumasi Ayigya in the Ashanti Region, His Eminence Apostle Godbless Boateng has observed that mothers play a significant role in the society to shape people’s lives.
And therefore they deserve special recognition to enhance their tittle as “Sweet Mother” as one popular musician, Prince Mbanga composed song to credit mothers some years back.
Speaking to a section of the media in reaction to the mothers day celebration which took off on Sunday May 14 2023, the clergy intimated that because mothers are recognized to be special people, it is important for all women to play their roles well to be remembered and counted among the ideal women in the society.
His Eminence Apostle Godbless Boateng cited that asides undergoing through toil before giving birth, they also take good care of children, husbands, home management among others.
According to him in procreation arrangements, God created man to manage affairs, whilst mothers were created to build nations.
Therefore as mothers are further seen as a source of a supporters of men, they command a great deal of respect in the society.
The man of God took the opportunity to congratulate and salute mothers as they celebrate the day and entreated them to remain resolute, faithful and work hard to maintain their dignity at all times.
But whilst praising mothers for the roles they have been playing to transform the society, he charged mothers to see marriage as a sacred institution endorsed by God, and as such show respect to their husbands to ensure peaceful coexistence in their homes.
The clergy described as unfortunate some mothers who expose their marital challenges in the airwaves and social media platforms for settlement.
Stressing that as mothers they need to settle marriage problems through customary means or church pastors and elders to enhance unity, peace and love that the Holy scriptures speak about.
