The Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani Bekwai Anhwiaso in the Western North region, Hon Paul Andoh has vehemently denied allegations of neglect regarding various community projects, particularly the ongoing MTN network installation in the municipality.
The MCE, affectionately known as Polando, labeled these accusations as a malicious fabrication aimed at tarnishing his reputation and that of the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Hon. Alfred Obeng Obeng Boateng.
Addressing a growing wave of accusations circulating within the community, Hon Andoh made it clear that the contractors responsible for the MTN project are actively working onsite, despite facing a temporary halt due to unforeseen circumstances.
“We are fully committed to the development of our municipality,” he asserted, underlining the ongoing efforts that continue despite the challenges posed by external forces.
Andoh did not shy away from attributing the source of these allegations to political rivals.
He accused elements of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), as well as some members from within his own New Patriotic Party (NPP), of orchestrating this campaign against him and the MP.
“It is disheartening to see some of our own, driven by personal vendettas, align with political adversaries in a bid to further their destructive agendas,” he lamented.
The MCE emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among local leaders to foster development in the Bibiani Bekwai Anhwiaso municipality.
He reaffirmed his commitment to his role, delineating that his mandate bestowed upon him by President Nana Akufo-Addo—serves a higher purpose, improving the living standards of residents and enhancing the community’s overall welfare.
In light of the recent upheaval, John Paul Andoh urged the citizens of Bibiani Bekwai Anhwiaso to rise above the petty politics that threaten to divide them.
“In the face of unjust attacks and politically motivated accusations, I remain resolute in my duty to serve the people.
We owe it to our community to stay focused on what truly matters development, growth, and the collective well-being of our people,” he asserted.
The MCE’s stance resonates with a larger call for accountability and transparency in governance, reminding constituents that the true measure of leadership lies in the ability to rise above conflict and work towards the common good.
