NGO Makes 150 Less Privileged Go Happy In The Christmas Day

As part of measures to fulfill their obligations as one of the leading charitable organizations in the country, management of Give To Life Charity Organization headquartered in the Greater Accra Region showed love to more than 150 less privileged citizens involving streets children, elderly among others in Accra to feel at home during the yuletide in December 2022.

Briefing the Correspondent about the gesture on telephone, the outfit’s Secretary Madam Helena Kankam indicated that the offer forms part of the NGO’s policies to support the less fortunate ones every year so that they would feel at home.

She said under it’s policies personnel from the organization are tasked to go out to solicit for items in either kinds or in cash from the public.

After which such packages are distributed back to the needy especially the streets children, less fortunate ones and the elderly to help them to enjoy during Christmas.

According to Helena Kankam the last year’s Christmas offer was made on December 21st 2022 from Lapaz down to the 37 military hospital lorry’s rank.

Beneficiaries she said, took home among others raw rice, track suits, lady’s wears, assorted secondhand clothing, tokens, water, sweets and drinks.

The Secretary took the opportunity to thank those of whose cooperation through their donations the NGO was able to make others happy in the Christmas day.

The organization took the opportunity to appeal to the public and companies to come to their aid to enhance render service to the needy to compliment government efforts at raising living standards in the country.
