As the political atmosphere in Ghana intensifies, Mr. Daniel Agyenim Boateng a leading contender for the National Organizer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has launched a scathing critique of the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration under President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with the Correspondent, the former Ashanti Regional NPP Organizer asserted that the vision which convinced Ghanaians to vote for the NDC in the 2024 general elections has fast turned into disillusionment.
According to Mr. Boateng the current administration has proven to be a failure, a reality he claims is visibly manifesting in the deteriorating livelihoods of ordinary citizens.

The Cinematic Deception:
Mr. Agyenim Boateng likened the current political climate to a cinematic production.
He described the NDC as a lion that played a dirty game to usurp power from the tiger representing the NPP only to disappoint the citizenry once in office.
Mahama and the NDC used sweet words to deceive Ghanaians into handing them power,, Boateng remarked.
Barely months into their mandate the weight of their failed campaign promises are crushing the very people they claimed to serve, the Aspirant noted.
They promised paradise but they are now delivering a collapse in living standards of the citizens.
Bawumia: The Savior in Waiting:
Drawing a parallel to the narrative of his cinematic analogy, Mr. Boateng arg indicated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the former Vice Preside understands the gravity of the situation and feels it is his duty to save Ghana from total collapse.
Dr. Bawumia is coming in like a hungry tiger to unseat the NDC and restore order, he stated.
He insisted that the current government has failed across all critical metricsv including economic management, policy implementation,l and the execution of sustainable national projects.
Legacy vrs Short term Fixes:
The aspirant drew a sharp contrast between the past NPP regimes and the current NDC administration.
He lauded the tenures of former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for their focus on long term legacy projects.
Agyenim Boateng alleged that under Kufuor and Akufo Addo regimes, infrastructure was built to last whilst today we see roads being repaired with a handful of coal tar from gallons, a practice that actually accelerates the destruction of our road

He questioned how the government would expect and attract foreign investment when the country’s infrastructure remains in a state of terminal decline.
Stalled Progress and the “24 Hour Economy:
Mr. Boateng did not spare the government’s flagship 24 hour economy policy as he dismissed it as a confused initiative.
He questioned the logic of focusing exclusively on market activities during midnight hours while industrial productivity remains stagnant.
Furthermore he accused the Mahama led administration of stalling the Agenda 111 project—a signature health initiative introduced by the Akufo Addo administration.
Boateng noted that a country can only develop when its citizens are healthy.
By halting such vital health infrastructure, the NDC is actively disadvantaging the sector and the health of the Ghanaian people, he added.
A Call for Change:
Concluding the interview, Mr. Agyenim Boateng expressed confidence that the electorate is now wide awake to the empty promises of the NDC.
He urged Ghanaians to rally behind the NPP’s vision which he believes is the only viable path to meaningful economic recovery and national development
