Offinso-Noorth Npp supporters hails Dr Mahamoud Bawumia’s pledge for party’s welfare fund

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Offinso-North constituency has loudly commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia a prominent figure and presidential hopeful within the party for his recent pledge to establish a dedicated welfare fund.

The announcement is aimed at supporting party faithful who encounter difficulties or trouble has been widely welcomed as a timely and crucial initiative.

Dr. Bawumia the immediate past Vice President of Ghana, made this significant commitment following his visit to victims affected by the chaotic scenes that marred the recent Ablekuma North constituency by-election.

The by-election was unfortunately engulfed in various chaotic incidents, highlighting the risks and challenges faced by party supporters on the ground.

According to various party faithful in Offinso-North such a decision is profoundly laudable and long overdue.

Many believe that considering the numerous incidents that have previously impacted party members, Dr. Bawumia’s move is in the right direction.

The sentiment is that a structured support system is essential for maintaining morale and providing a safety net for those who dedicate their efforts to the party.

Speaking on the initiative, the Offinso-North Constituency Organizer, Nana Kofi Awiah, expressed his strong support for the proposed fund.

While welcoming the news, Nana Kofi Awiah emphasized that party executives at all levels must commit to contributing significantly once the fund is officially launched by Dr. Bawumia.

This is the time that the party truly needs such funds to help party faithful to work hard towards winning the next elections, the organizer noted underscoring the fund’s potential impact on electoral success.

Echoing similar sentiments another dedicated party activist John Deere, appealed to all supporters to bury their differences and come together as a one big family.

He underscored the importance of collective and effective campaigning towards securing victory in the upcoming elections in 2028 against the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The overwhelming positive reception to Dr. Bawumia’s pledge in Offinso-North highlights the pressing need for internal party support mechanisms.
