Party will disassociates itself from your troubles if you engage thugs to create confusions at polling stations -Asiedu Nketia to Aspirants.
The National chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia has signalled a word of warning to the presidential and parliamentary hopefuls of the tomorrow’s elections to refrain from engaging machomen at the grounds of the various polling stations across the country.
At a press briefing in Accra this afternoon to give update of the elections the chairman said the advise is to ensure peaceful, free and fair elections devoid of violence.
He said full security would be enforced by the police at the polling stations and that a contestant who needs assistance should contact the security personnel for help.
Mr Nketia made it clear that the party would not support, tolerate or take responsibility of any candidate who would hire thugs to create confusions that would cause that person’s arrest by the police.
I want to put on records that the party believes in peace and unity and therefore you can create confusion and been arrested at your own risk. the National chairman advised.
