POSSESING THE NATION MANTRA MAYBE WORKING.
Apostle Onyina could be the salt and light to permeate and sanitize Ghanaian political environment!
Rumors have it that the former chairman (Apostle Professor Opoku Onyina) of the Church of Pentecost is a potential candidate for NPP’s vice presidency slot!
The revered man of God has earned the great respect of Ghanaians across board, relative to his virtue of incorruptibility, educational credentials and practical leadership throughout his ministry journey at the national and global front, even the Vatican has engaged him! Ghana deserves and needs such an asset in our national leadership.
The church of Pentecost should not be over sensitive to their reputation because of the potential derogations that will come from Ghanaians, whether the outcome (good or bad) of his leadership involvement in national politics. The leadership of the Church of Pentecost should have a deeper reflection on their recent mantra ‘POSSESING THE NATION AGENDA’ this might be in line with it! There is time to use the pulpit and and other to literally and physically get involved in the process.
Daniel, Shdrack, Meshack, Abednago, Joseph, Mrs. Pilate and Maneckem were working with pagan kings like: NABUCHADNAZAR, PHAROAH and HEROD THE GREAT. If it is a divine call on him, God will keep Apostle Onyina even holier among the corrupt politicians he will have to associate with!
REV. E W TOZA said, “The greatest miracle that God can do today is to take an unholy man out of an unholy world, and make that man holy and put him back into that unholy world and keep him holy in it.”
However, H E John Dramani Mahamah and H E Muhamamadu Bawumiah has each affirmed ironically in this country that vice presidency is a mere ceremonial leadership. Therefore, as long as Bawumiah (a Muslim) is the president, even if he chooses the Pope as running mate, no true mature Christian will vote for a Muslim Presidential Aspirant. As a Pastor and a devout Christian, I can never vote for a Muslim because of their history. People who don’t learn from history are bound to repeat it!
If Apostle Professor Onyina is the PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANT for any political party in Ghanaian, I will even campaign for him, but if he is a running mate to a Muslim, he can not have my vote! I vote for presidential Aspirants not parties.
Whenever God wants to judge a nation, He allows evil individuals to rise to power! Therefore Ghanaian Christians, WOKE UP FROM YOUR SLEEP! Danger is looming!
From Sir Charles Mccarthy to Dr. Nkrumah to Nana Akufo Addo, all our presidents have been Christians that is why there is freedom of worship and peace in Ghanaian. Please don’t underestimate Ghanaian Heritage!
