The Ashanti Regional branch chairman of the New Patriotic Party Newspapers Vendors Association, Mr Bismark Ayensu has stressed the need for Ghanaians to renew their confidence in President Nana Akuffo Addo since he has plans to transform the country before his exit in 2024.
Speaking to the Correspondent in an exclusive interview today, the Npp stalwart indicated that Nana Akuffo Addo deserves praises over the pragmatic measures he have put in place to see a lots of development in the economy.
He said the policies that he put in place have relieved many Ghanaians especially the parents who were suffering during the administration of the past regime that was led by former President John Dramani Mahama.
Chairman Ayensu particularly mentioned the free senior high school policy among others which in his opinion, is the first of its kind Akuffo Addo has introduced to benefit all Ghanaians.
The free education concept Ayensu underscored was not an issue of politics like party A or B, but rather it was a universal policy to benefit all Ghanaians.
Citing job creation and investment opportunities, chairman Ayensu gave credit to the President for working tirelessly to discourage the Fulani herdsmen who were in the past using their cattle to disturb farmers in the country.
Today the herdsmen are well accommodated and Ghanaians less heard of them, the vendor pointed out.
On the occasion, the Npp apparatchik cautioned those who resort to attack the President on no specific points.
As in his opinion, insults are not the keys to develop a strong nation.
Rally behind the President to deliver on his promises because whether you love or hate him, he will develop the economy before his time is up, chairman Ayensu concluded.
