Regal prophet declares: I will burn myself if my prophecy on Dr Mahamoud Bawumia doesn’t come true

In a striking declaration that has stirred both political and spiritual circles, a Ghanaian prophet known as the Regal Prophet has boldly proclaimed that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will not only clinch the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer position but will also emerge victorious in the 2028 general elections. The prophecy, delivered during a televised sermon, has added a dramatic layer to the already intensifying race for leadership within the NPP.

According to the Regal Prophet, the vision came during a moment of deep prayer and spiritual revelation. “Mark my words,” he declared, “Dr. Bawumia is divinely chosen to lead Ghana into its next chapter. The mantle has been handed to him, and no force can stop what heaven has ordained.” The statement has since gone viral, sparking conversations across social media and political platforms.

This prophecy aligns with growing momentum around Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy. Recent reports indicate that a significant number of NPP Members of Parliament have thrown their support behind the former Vice President, citing his experience, leadership style, and appeal to a broad spectrum of voters. A recent poll shows Bawumia leading the pack with 57% support among NPP delegates and 48% among the general electorate.

Interestingly, the Regal Prophet’s vision echoes similar revelations from Prophet Emmanuel Worlasi, who claimed to have seen a spiritual scenario in which supporters of Kennedy Agyapong secretly switched allegiance to Bawumia during the voting process. In contrast, other prophets have predicted different outcomes, suggesting a spiritual tug-of-war over the party’s future.

While prophecies have long played a role in Ghana’s political landscape, they remain controversial. Critics argue that spiritual endorsements can blur the lines between faith and governance, while supporters see them as divine guidance in a nation where religion and politics often intertwine.

As the NPP prepares for its presidential primaries, the Regal Prophet’s bold proclamation adds a layer of intrigue to an already high-stakes contest. Whether the prophecy will manifest or be challenged by political realities remains to be seen—but for now, it has undeniably amplified the spotlight on Dr. Bawumia’s path to power.

Editor’s note – Time Will tell. At the time the Npp delegates conference to choose a flagbearer has taken a controversial topics forcing Bawumia to step down where come from a prophecy that boarder on someone’s presidential victory in te 2028 general elections.
