In a candid and explosive revelation a well known Npp activist of Konongo in the Ashanti region, Prince Opoku Agyeman has indicated that his party’s prospects in the 2028 general elections sounds bleak and likely to be defeated if measures are not put in place to reverse the trend.
Speaking to the Correspondent in an interview, Agyeman linked the Npp’s alleged future electoral defeat to President Mahama’s Reset Ghana policy among others that he said are making impact on Ghanaians.
Agyeman contended that despite his Npp affiliation, plain truth must be told stating that his critical assessment of the political landscape suggests that the New Patriotic Party (Npp) has no feet to stand on to win political victory in 2028.

According to Agyeman Mahama’s Reset Ghana policy and other flagship initiatives are transforming the lives of Ghanaians.
He specifically mentioned the “Nkokonkente policy, improvements in the agricultural sector, job creation efforts, the Big Push initiative and the overall stabilization of the dollar as some policies successes under Mahama’s leadership.
These policies he said have positioned the ruling National Democratic Congress (Ndc) to be embraced by Ghanaians to retain the Ndc to power in the 2028 elections.
When I critically study the policies of the Ndc and how the policies are impacting on Ghanaians and comments from people it comes to my mind that another Npp defeat is at hand come 2028, the opposition stalwart predicted.
Opoku Agyeman, who identified himself as a beneficiary of the Nkokonkente project did not mince words in his critique of the Npp.
He described his own party as a “died in the wool” political entity which prioritizes in noise making over concrete action which is a stark contrast to the tangible developments Ghanaians are witnessing under President John Dramani Mahama’s leadership.
He anticipates that his words would make many supporters of the Npp to become angry but noted that truth must be told.
The Konongo based activist further elaborated that the factionalism, blame games and dirty politics that have dominated the Npp form parts of the party’s l humiliation in the next elections.
Whilst my brief evidence cannot be disputed by the opposition elements, Agyeman stated that it is very clear that the policies that have been adopted by the Ndc government will surely push the flagbearer of NPP, Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia and his elephant party into the bush inn 2028, if they remain in dirty politics without making amendment to see their way through.
