Stop the blame game: Assiedu Nketia warns Ndc supporters against giving me Npp power to overthrow party

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has issued a stern caution to party supporter urging them to desist from publicly criticizing the government over unfulfilled campaign promises.

During a nationwide tour which landed him in Bolgatanga, the NDC Chairman expressed deep concern about the growing trend of party members who have been persistently blaming the leadership for the perceived delay in job creation and the fulfillment of electoral pledges.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia warned that such internal dissent could effectively give the opposition Npp the chance as a weaken point of the Ndc to. campaign against them.in the 2028. elections

 

 

If this blame game continue to emerge in the NDC’s own backyard it will give the opposition with the ammunition they need to campaign against us and winn the 2028 general elections., he stated.

He further emphasized that the governance process requires strategic planning stressing that the inability to immediately implement certain policies is not a sign of neglect but a necessity to ensure that the right things are done through proper and sustainable measures

Addressing the concerns of the frustrated supporters, the National Chairman assured them that the party has not in any way neglected those who stood firm to bring the Ndc back to power.

He indicated that President John Dramani Mahama is actively working to implement comprehensive measures to satisfy the needs of the populace.

President Mahama has put measures in place to ensure that everyone is catered for, Asiedu Nketia stated.

He urged party faithful to remain hopeful, promising that Ghanaians will soon witness a surge in job opportunities which he believes will put an end to the current wave of accusations against the government.

Chairman Nketia made a heartfelt appeal for unity and patience and urged party supporters to prioritize the survival and stability of the government over public venting.

By my statement I am pleading with you to exercise restraint and stop the noise making for our own benefit.

Do not give the opposition the opportunity to take advantage of your words to overthrow us in the next elections,” Assiedu Nketia told party members.

He assured that the party is ready and committed to fulfilling its promises.

As the NDC looks forward to the 2028 electoral cycle, Asiedu Nketia’s call serves as a strategic reminder that internal solidarity is the party’s most potent defense against political adversaries.
