The Head Pastor of the 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies, Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr has stressed the need for the Christians to renew their faith in Christ as we enter into the new year, since Master Jesus is the only source who have the keys to all problems.
Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr made the call on Friday December 30 2022 when he was preaching at the 2022 end of the year camp meeting, organized by the 7th Day Pentecostal Assemblies at Feyiase in the Ashanti Region.
The program had the theme: “I Have Loved Thee With An Everlasting Love, quoted from the book of Jer. 31:3, and it was attached by the entire 25 branch churches across the country.
Dignities who graced the impressive occasion include chiefs, religious leaders, journalists among others.
The man of God indicated that as the year 2022 gets to the end, people, especially the christians need to resolve and take stock of their past performances and correct themselves on where they made mistakes and approach the new year with new heart.
Elder Enoch Ofori underscored that many people though called themselves as Christians, they loose their faith when they are confronted with some challenges.
Adding that instead of putting their trust in the Lord they rather allowed themselves to be swayed by the influences of the Satan.
Therefore as christians, the clergy encouraged them to live up to their expectations and bear in mind that the good Lord cannot forsake His people who trust in Him.
Be reformed and do not allowed yourselves to be deceived by the elements of the darkness whose targets focus to destroy the works of God, Elder Ofori Jnr advised.
FALSE PROPHECIES:
Elder Enoch Ofori Jnr reminded the congregation to note that in the end time Satan will rise up in its powers to deceive the society.
He said the deception of the Satan would be carried out through its agents who would pretend themselves as Angels of lights to accomplish their tasks.
For as quoted: And for such are false apostles, deceitful workers transformed into an angels of lights. And no wonder for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
The humble servant of God narrated that today many false prophets have joined in the priesthood using the Holy Scriptures as a cover to perform miracles to divert the attentions of sons and daughters of God from the gospel truth.
Such quake prophets he indicated, hardly preach salvation nor repentance, instead they always focus on issues that relate to prosperity.
Elder Enoch Ofori conceded the fact that God never hates prosperity, issues of prosperity should be seen as a part of the gospel, but it cannot be used as a daily topical practices as we experience it in the society today.
Prophets should be an ordained and a person who intercedes between man and God for peaceful coexistence and not the one who uses threatening prophecies to create divisions and extortions to enrich themselves as we shamelessly see in the country today.
Today he said it is no secret as one could witness the rising trend in which alleged false prophecies have been trending in the country, compelling the police boss to announce sanctions on the priesthood.
The clergy said the only source which can guarantee the salvation, prosperity and happiness is to believe and rely on the word of God, since without Christ mankind’s existence is meaningless.
On the occasion the congregation resolved to pray for the leadership and the entire citizens of the country for God’s protection, unity, peace and stability as we enter into 2023.
