Woman Locks Up Her 2 Year- Old Baby Boy And Taken To Her Heels.
The police at Amanfrom in the Akyim Abuakwa South Municipality in the Eastern region have mounted a search for a woman who has reportedly gone into hiding after she had locked up her two year old baby boy in a room.
According to reports reaching the website, the incident took place at Kyebi Potroase on Tuesday, August 29 2023.
The reports said a resident was passing by a house at Potroase when he heard of an unusual screaming of a baby.
Because it was a day time and also nobody was spotted at the house, the source said sensing danger of foul play allegedly exercised boldness, craned his head into the ajared windows but couldn’t saw anyone expect the lonely child.
The situation prompted the source who drew the attention of the residents and Assemblywoman for the area, Hon Maa Afia to the scene, forced opened the door to see to their amazement on how the baby had urinated amid covering himself with human excreta in a state of unconsciousness.
Information had it that the helpless child was rushed to the hospital after which the case was reported to the Amanfrom police station for action.
According to some townsfolk they spotted the baby’s mother on the 29th August 2023 boarding a car without carrying the baby.
Meanwhile the woman whose name was not immediately given is on the run and declared wanted by the police, the helpless child has since been entrusted into the care of the Assemblywoman.
