Work hard to achieve positive results for the school – Wassa Amenfi MCE To Amenfiman SHS Management

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Wassa Amenfi East in the Western Region, Hon. Fredrick Korankye has charged management, teaching and non-teaching staff of the Amenfiman Senior High School (Great ANENSS) not to give up on their efforts to achieve higher results for the School

The Municipal Chief Executive made the call when he was addressing the graduation ceremony of the school held for the 2023 WASSCE graduates.

“I am pleased to join the management and the entire staff to officially bid a memorable farewell to the graduates” Hon Korankye asserted.

Hon. Frederick Korankye dubbed (ADWUMAURA) literally means ” owner of the work or hard working person” acknowledged the dedication and commitment of the staff having qualified in the first time in the history of the school, for the National Maths and Science Quiz and also emerging third in last year’s WASSCE performance in the Western Region.

He however encouraged the teachers to continue to work hard to uplift the image of the school that was once unattractive to SHS to many within the Wassa Amenfi municipality.

He congratulated the new SHS graduates in advance and advised them to be serviceable to their parents as they leave SHS, since services that goes with humility are the surest way of getting their continual support for higher education.

Hon. Frederick Korankye donated Ghc2,000.00 to support the programme.

On his part, Nana Agyei Fena II, Wassa Amenfi Sumankwahene and the Chairman for the occasion admonished the graduates to be fully prepared as they begin the journey to another chapter of their lives.

The headmaster of the school, Mr Kwasi Mickson acknowledged the MCE’s commitment in honouring the invitation and also used the occasion to thank both teaching and Non-teaching staff for their continual support.

The occasion also saw the attendance of other dignitaries including Mr George Kofi Sagoe, headmaster of FIASEC, Bishop Francis Stephen – AMENSS PTA chairman, Mr Vincent Wireko – Assistant headmaster Domestic – of TARSCO.
