The spiritual landscape of Ghana is facing a critical reckoning as Prophet Mark Ofori Gyimah widely known as Osofo Kaakyire who is the Senior Pastor of Heaven Keys Prayer Centre an affiliate of the Salvation Word Worship Center, has admonished his fellow pastors.
He asserted that their false predictions cannot give them the mandate to be recognized by God as true pastors.
This powerful declaration comes amidst the growing concerns about the proliferation of deceptive prophecies within the country.
Speaking to the Correspondent in an interview, Osofo Kaakyire expressed deep dismay over the alarming trend of fabricated prophecies that have been dominating the spiritual discourse.
He observed that a segment of pastors who are claiming to have divine anointing for genuine prophecies are in reality engaged in deliberate deception for sake of cheap popularity.
Prophecies are real according to the scriptures Osofo Kaakyire stated, but today many pastors have deviated from the true Bible prophecies while they concoct unfounded prophecies to deceive the public sometimes also to acquire material gains.
Osofo Kaakyire characterized these self styled prophets as entertainment and joking Ministers of God.
He indicated that their focus often lies in delivering doom laden predictions including prophecies of death, road accidents, and economic hardship which he believes serve to discourage citizens and stifle their aspirations for breakthrough.
As prophets Osofo Kaakyire emphasized, we have to pray for the peace and unity of the country whilst we are further subjected to pray against hardships and economic doom.
He drew upon the scriptures, specifically citing Jeremiah 28:9 to define a true prophet: A prophet is the one who prophecies according to the word, for such prophets are seen and known as truthful prophets recognized by the Lord.
The Senior Pastor urged those engaging in fortune telling and deceitful predictions to cease their conduct.
He issued a solemn reminder that the word of God is not a stage for entertainment and that judgement day is real.
Furthermore Osofo Kaakyire advised the Ghanaian populace to remain vigilant and discerning, urging them to stay away from suspicious individuals who masquerade as Angels of light to deceive people under their false and unfounded predictions.
Osofo Kaakyire leads both the Heaven Keys Prayer Centre and the Salvation Word Worship Center, under the overall presidency of Apostle Clement Ofori Sarbeng.
Among their regular services, both ministries offer impactful programs every Tuesday morning from 5 am to 1:30 pm, described as times where “special directions, miracles and healings unfold.”
His impassioned plea serves as a vital call to authenticity and integrity within the Ghanaian clergy, reminding them that divine recognition is earned through truth and not deception.
